Recovery Unplugged and Face the Music Foundation Partner with Kensington Christian Academy for Holiday Toy Drive

Philadelphia’s Christ Bible Fellowship Church was alight with holiday cheer on December 14, as Recovery UnpluggedFace the Music Foundation and Kensington Christian Academy united to give families in need something special this season. The three organizations partnered to coordinate a toy giveaway and concert to help local families who needed a little extra help this year in giving their kids the holiday they deserve. The event was an incredible success with rapper Doc Hero providing the soundtrack for an unforgettable evening, and generous donors from all over the country reminding us of the true meaning of the holiday season. We were able to give so many families a happy holiday, and we look forward to helping even more next year.

We would like to thank everyone who made the event such a remarkable success, including Doc Hero, Christ Bible Fellowship Church, our hard-working volunteers and everyone who took the time to donate. Your contributions made this night possible. We would also like to extend special thanks to Kensington Christian Academy for the wonderful plaque they gave our very own Rob Harrison in recognition of his commitment to the organization. Recovery Unplugged understands that the holiday season can be especially stressful for those who are in recovery, as well as for those actively struggling with substance abuse. We would like to remind all who are feeling vulnerable this season to seek help wherever they can. Happy Holidays from all of us at Recovery Unplugged.
