This morning, President & Co-Founder of Face the Music Foundation, PAUL Pellinger, was interviewed LIVE via phone on “The Lisa Show” on Sirius XM channel 143. The Lisa Show is a two-hour talk show that focuses on helping others find hope, optimism, and a healthy life perspective. Their national audience is targeted to parents of children ages 6-16. As well as being broadcast nationally, the segment was simulcasted on 107.9FM Salt Lake City and throughout Utah, DISH network channel 980, iTunes Radio, and live streamed online.
Did you know that over18 million people suffer from addiction to substance abuse and around 72,000 people in the US die of an overdose every year? Addiction is a serious disease—but despite this there’s also a lot of stigma surrounding it. People suffering from addiction need help, but because of this stigma it isn’t always easy for everyone to get the help they need.
Luckily, we (Face the Music Foundation), are a non-profit organization that can provide music-based addiction care.
