Rise Above Addiction
Face the Music Foundation wants to assist as many people as possible in breaking the destructive cycle of addiction while helping them find the means and support to achieve and maintain sobriety. Our vision is a world where the stigma surrounding addiction is gone, and with it, the financial and logistical barriers that so often get in the way of treatment and lasting recovery. Everyone has the right to peace of mind and a second chance, regardless of their financial circumstances. We want to offer these opportunities while connecting those we serve with unforgettable musical experiences.
Our Mission is to remove stigma and save lives through providing tools and resources to break the cycle of addiction by utilizing treatment scholarships, music-centric prevention programs, outreach and events.
Our Vision is a world where all people have access to addiction treatment, education, prevention and aftercare regardless of systemic barriers.
Face The Music Foundation (FTMF) was founded in 2014 by 4 guys NOT named John, Paul, Ringo and George, yet we do have Paul. All 3 men and Paul Pellinger the brain-child of Recovery Unplugged Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer) shared the belief that music can change the world.
Born from frustration that those without insurance or financial means couldn’t access quality care, they knew they had to act.
Thus FTMF was created in order to address this issue. we’ve evolved …into a Musical Change-making machine holistically attacking this societal ill from all angles.
Music is our mechanism to healing, building bridges, enhancing retention and much more. Our relationship with the music industry is paramount to our success in helping others. Additionally, we work with an alliance of providers, inpatient detoxes, residential treatment centers, outpatient treatment centers, individual therapists and sober living residences who are committed to helping those struggling with drugs and alcohol to lead happy, productive lives in recovery.

Face the Music Foundation’s Story
Face the Music Foundation was established in 2014 by Paul Pellinger, a veteran of the addiction treatment landscape, lifelong music lover and Co-Founder of Recovery Unplugged Treatment Centers. After recognizing the glaring and painful need for support and financial assistance faced by many who are struggling with addiction, he and his partners knew they had to act. Face the Music Foundation now exists to provide education and support to those who are vulnerable to substance use, and treatment assistance for those who are already affected by addiction.
